About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned IT Portfolio Lead to join our team and take charge of overseeing our complex IT portfolio. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the planning, prioritization, and execution of our IT project portfolio across multiple business units.

Your expertise in managing complex IT portfolios in enterprise environments will be crucial in driving project prioritization, governance, and benefits realization. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to align technology investments with strategic objectives, monitor performance, risks, and benefits realization, and provide transparent reporting and insights to steering committees and executive leadership.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our IT portfolio and contribute to long-term planning and key strategic direction. Your ability to influence and foster positive stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organization will be essential in navigating competing priorities and ensuring customer satisfaction.

To be successful in this position, you will need to possess proven experience with portfolio management tools and reporting, as well as exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Relevant certifications such as PfMP, PMP, SAFe, or ITIL are a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of the IT project portfolio across multiple business units
  • Monitor performance, risks, and benefits realization across the portfolio
  • Provide transparent reporting and insights to steering committees and executive leadership
  • Governance and stewardship of project delivery frameworks, portfolio management processes, and systems
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing complex IT portfolios in enterprise environments
  • Proven experience with portfolio management tools and reporting
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to long-term planning and key strategic direction
  • Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent competency
