We're seeking a Marketing Strategist to support and implement our overall marketing strategy with a focus on brand equity and profitable growth.

  • Drive the implementation of the marketing strategy & executional plans that will support the commercial team to deliver sales and profit targets.
  • Management of all elements of the marketing mix including product development, pricing, consumer and trade marketing initiatives.
  • Effective collaboration & communication of plans to key stakeholders to gain support and commitment to activities.
  • Supporting the creative development of packaging, advertising, consumer and trade promotions, communication and channel strategies.
  • Preparing post campaign reports (PCR) on delivery of KPI's and ROI.
  • Developing a marketing database of competitor pricing, product distribution, sponsorships, merchandising materials, and media activity.
  • Effectively managing agreed marketing budget and monthly reporting.
  • Custodian of the brand ensuring clear brand guidelines and consistency across all communication touchpoints.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in business with a major in Marketing or equivalent, minimum 2 years in marketing and brand management, FMCG or Consumer Goods experience preferred, proven track record of brand positioning and brand strategy process, successful project management and collaboration with key functions such as R&D, Procurement, Finance, Sales and Production, experience in NPD ideation and execution, communication campaign development and media plan management - digital marketing & social media management, and high level interpersonal and communication skills.
