Job Description

We are seeking an experienced electrical professional to lead a regional team of electrical workers and ensure the highest standards of compliance, safety, and technical excellence across various construction and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Expertise: Providing expert electrical advice and consultancy to field staff, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Supervising and supporting the delivery of electrical construction, maintenance, and upgrade works.
  • Compliance: Ensuring up-to-date compliance with all relevant legislation, Australian Standards, and safety systems.
  • Site Inspections: Conducting regular site inspections and WHS audits, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Project Coordination: Supporting the delivery of minor air-conditioning and refrigeration installations.
  • Risk Assessment: Supervising the use of risk assessment tools and ensuring proper recording of electrical testing and certification.
  • Costing: Providing accurate costing for minor repairs, upgrades, and electrical works.
  • Talent Development: Coordinating training, assessment, and performance development of apprentices and electrical staff.
  • Travel: Traveling regionally (including overnight stays) and occasionally via light aircraft to support on-site operations.
