Role Overview

The National Workforce Planning role is a newly created position responsible for overseeing national workforce support functions. Reporting to the senior executive team, this position will lead workforce planning, demand forecasting, and resourcing strategies across multiple states.

This key role will ensure compliance with EBAs, Awards, Fair Work, and fatigue management policies while driving productivity benchmarking and workforce optimisation initiatives. The successful candidate will partner with senior stakeholders to embed data-driven workforce strategies and deliver continuous improvement in rostering and scheduling systems.

About the Position

As a leader, you will thrive in complex, high-volume environments and combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution. You will bring extensive experience in workforce management across multi-site industries, expertise in rostering, labour modelling, payroll budgeting, and workforce compliance.

You will have a strong understanding of industrial relations frameworks and experience with EBAs. A proven track record of driving efficiency and cost savings while improving service delivery and employee engagement is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead workforce planning, demand forecasting, and resourcing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with EBAs, Awards, Fair Work, and fatigue management policies
  • Drive productivity benchmarking and workforce optimisation initiatives
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to embed data-driven workforce strategies
Requirements
  • 20+ years' workforce management experience
  • Expertise in rostering, labour modelling, payroll budgeting, and workforce compliance
  • Proven success leading centralised workforce support functions
  • Strong understanding of industrial relations frameworks and experience with EBAs
