Project Director Opportunity

Lead tunnelling and civil engineering projects to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality results while driving commercial success.

  • Oversee site operations to ensure compliance with company standards and maximize commercial performance.
  • Manage procurement schedules and maintain accurate forecasting to communicate changes effectively to the team.
  • Identify and report project risks and opportunities to senior management and drive cost efficiency by continuously challenging processes.
  • Maintain detailed site diaries and records, ensuring production of project documentation (Plans, RAMS, ITPs, Waste Management Plans).
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing tunnelling and civil engineering projects in the UK.
  • Strong background in civil engineering, with broad experience advantageous.
  • Proficient in NEC contracts, contract management, and change management.
  • Experienced in design management, risk management, CVRs, forecasting, and cost control.
  • SMSTS certification and a degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (minimum requirement).
