Aged Care Professional

As a dedicated caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to live and age positively. Your primary responsibility will be to provide assistance with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, independence, and well-being.
- Assistance with mobility needs, including manual handling.
- Support at mealtimes as required.
- Encouragement of engagement in various social activities.
- Assistance with personal care needs, maintaining hygiene, toileting, and personal care such as dressing, grooming, and oral care.
- Previous experience in aged care is highly valued.
- Understanding of person-centred care principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Ability to take direction and follow instructions.
- Confidence, friendliness, and professionalism when interacting with team members and residents.
- Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent qualification with relevant aged care units completed.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
- Willingness to undergo a police check.
- Current flu vaccination or willingness to obtain.
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination (minimum of 1 dose).
