Job Overview

The Department of the Environment and Energy is responsible for protecting this heritage through various national parks, marine reserves, and protected areas.

This role supports senior staff in providing key services related to media, education, and tourism at Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

About the Position

You will assist in managing the park's visitor experience, providing information to tourists, and supporting cultural programs.

  1. Provide customer service and respond to inquiries from visitors;
  2. Support educational programs and events, such as guided tours and workshops;
  3. Collaborate with the cultural centre team to deliver engaging experiences for visitors.
Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Visitor & Tourism Services team, you will:

  • Manage the Park Entry Station and Cultural Centre;
  • Contribute to developing and delivering marketing campaigns to promote the park's attractions;
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of visitor numbers and feedback.

Competitive Remuneration package includes salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 per annum, paid annual leave and sick leave, plus benefits for remote area work.
