Job Title: Construction Cost Management Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced construction cost management specialist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various traditional quantity surveying functions, including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting.

This role requires a high level of expertise in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of project life cycles, from conception through to completion and post-project review. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/client commissions are essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Full Australian working rights and current location in Australia
  • RICS/AIQS accreditation highly regarded
  • Proficient in using cost management software such as Cost X
  • A thorough understanding of total project life cycle, from conception through to completion and post-project review
  • Highly motivated with passion for delivering excellence to clients
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage team and control multiple projects/client commissions
