C&K - The Creche and Kindergarten is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cook to join our North Caloundra team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious and delicious meals for our children, supporting their growth and development.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children. As a Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving healthy meals and snacks to our children, ensuring that their dietary needs are met and their taste buds are delighted.

You will work closely with our Kitchens Operations Supervisor to design and deliver menus that cater to the diverse needs of our children, including those with dietary restrictions and allergies. Your attention to detail, creativity, and passion for cooking will ensure that every meal is a culinary experience that our children will cherish.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or related discipline) and Quality Food Supervisor Certificate
  • Previous experience in cooking for young children or within a large commercial kitchen
  • Knowledge of menu planning for dietary and nutritional requirements
  • A valid Blue Card and current Police Check (or willingness to obtain these)
