As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks to our children, ensuring their dietary needs are met and their taste buds are delighted.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare healthy and delicious meals and snacks for our children, taking into account their dietary requirements and preferences.
- Work closely with our Kitchens Operations Supervisor to design and deliver menus that meet the nutritional needs of our children.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant food safety and handling regulations.
- Collaborate with our childcare team to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for our children.
- Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (or willingness to obtain these).
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or related discipline) and Quality Food Supervisor Certificate (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in cooking for young children or within a large commercial kitchen, plus knowledge of menu planning for dietary and nutritional requirements.
- A competitive hourly rate of $28.62-$33.56.
- A stable and secure work environment with fixed hours.
