Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hospital Food Service Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality food services to patients, staff, and patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Freshness and Quality Control: Maintain a high standard of food preparation, production, service, meal distribution, ware-washing, and cleaning of hospital service areas.
  • Health and Safety: Contribute to the organisation's Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, floors, and walls as directed by supervisors.

  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
  • Customer Focus: Ability to work in a busy environment safely with a focus on patients' needs.
  • Food Safety Knowledge: Working knowledge of food safety is desirable.
  • Additional Skills: Point of sale experience and espresso coffee making skills are also preferred.
