Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Plant and Warehouse Manager to oversee the strategic direction of our transport fleet, plant resources, operational maintenance workforce, workshop activities, and warehousing process. This is a leadership role that requires overseeing all aspects of our logistics operations.

This includes building and maintaining a high-performing team, leading strategic initiatives, establishing key performance indicators, providing management reporting, and ensuring integration with other departments.

  • Leading a team of managers, supervisors, and team members to achieve business objectives.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and safety.
  • Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators across cost, utilization, safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Providing regular management reports to senior management on departmental performance, risks, and improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplined teams and working with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislative, licensing, and maintenance standards.
  • A certificate IV or diploma in civil construction, logistics, or fleet management, or equivalent experience.
