About the Role

We are undertaking a major program of work involving multiple projects spanning several current industry-leading technologies, including Salesforce as a core component.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director with overall team strategy and planning.
  • Manage the environments team and its service delivery to support development teams.
  • Release program and ensure all environments are available, secure, and up to date.
  • Provide delivery management and technical leadership to the environments team.
  • Develop service delivery and resource plans to ensure all Salesforce and Mule Soft environment needs are met.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce environment plans.
  • Execute hands-on critical and complex Salesforce administration tasks to support releases, CI/CD, and new projects and environment changes.
  • Ensure standards and support processes are continually reviewed and improved.
  • Seek out automation opportunities for improved management of the Salesforce landscape.
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and work with internal parties and external vendors to resolve them.
  • Develop environment and code management plans to support release plans to deploy projects and BAU fixes into Production.
  • Manage support tickets with Salesforce and maintain platform security.
  • Ensure documentation on processes, policies, and configuration is developed and maintained.
  • Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users.
  • Assign work activities, mentor, and provide support to the environments team.
  • Provide support for Salesforce projects and work with team members including Developers, Testers, Project Managers, Cyber Security, Architects, and Business Analysts.

Requirements

  • Certified Salesforce Admin ADM211 or at least ADM201.
  • At least 7 years' experience within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Recent experience in a hands-on team management role in an enterprise-scale Salesforce-centric environment using contemporary tools and Dev Ops processes.
  • Strong experience in service delivery management.
  • Excellent stakeholder negotiation skills and the ability to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks across multiple stakeholder groups within the Salesforce Admin Team.
  • Demonstrable experience in administration and configuration of Salesforce Vlocity, Service Cloud, Einstein Analytics, and/or Health Cloud and in using Git Lab for Salesforce deployments.
  • Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens and can obtain security clearance.
