Job Title: Operations Supervisor Overview

The Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination of funeral activities, upholding high service standards, and providing effective team supervision. As a member of the Operations team, this individual supports the Location Manager in overseeing daily operations and mortuary services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily operational activities to ensure adequate staffing and efficient workflow
  • Support funeral teams by responding to client needs and service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Oversee documentation, scheduling, and administrative processes to maintain accuracy and compliance
  • Supervise cremation facilities and manage related financial transactions with utmost care
  • Maintain equipment, vehicles, and supplies to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Participate in funeral services, transfers, viewings, and cremations as required
  • Liaise with mortuary staff to ensure timely and respectful handling of deceased individuals
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to deliver exceptional service and achieve business objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
