Strategic Business Growth Manager

At SmartestEnergy Business Limited, we're on a mission to digitise, decarbonise, and localize the future of energy. As our Strategic Business Growth Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our global expansion and delivering strategic business growth.
The successful candidate will lead on developing and executing strategies to acquire new strategic business customers through direct and TPI channels. You'll be responsible for delivering the associated P&L and establishing new leads through networking, promoting products, and existing relationships. Your key objective will be to develop and lead the strategic sales plan, engaging with key internal stakeholders to drive success.
You'll have the opportunity to develop and lead strategic engagements and collaborations with influential industry associations. You'll adhere to performance and success metrics set by the business and regularly report customer success and challenges to executive teams.
- Proven experience in successfully closing energy supply contracts with large I&C customers, including product selection, commercial/contractual negotiation, and onboarding;
- Substantial experience of energy supplier operations;
- Experience of promotion of B2B products or services;
- Understanding of flexible power supply products and risk management of wholesale and non-commodity prices.
