Leadership Role: Senior Finance Manager

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance team and drive strategic financial decisions. This role is responsible for overseeing financial strategy, reporting, and systems to ensure strong financial health and sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving operational efficiency, managing profitability and liquidity, and providing strategic insights to support executive decision-making. They will also be responsible for leading the finance team, overseeing ERP systems, and acting as a trusted business partner across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all aspects of finance, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and compliance.
  • Oversee the general ledger, trial balance, sub-ledgers, and ensure integrity of financial records.
  • Partner with the leadership team to provide commercial analysis, insights, and recommendations.
  • Implement and optimise ERP systems and financial reporting platforms to streamline operations.
  • Drive financial strategy and planning, including long-term business and capital planning.
  • Manage audits, internal controls, risk management, and statutory compliance.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA/CFA/CMA) with 5+ years' experience in senior finance roles.
  • Strong commercial and operational acumen, ideally with experience in the transport or industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in ERP implementation and finance system optimisation.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executives and operational leaders.
