About the Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to work in a dynamic administration team, overseeing research governance and ethics across South Western Sydney Local Health District.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing, delivering, reviewing, and evaluating research governance activities and reporting.

Key responsibilities include ensuring researchers comply with legislation, guidelines, policies, and procedures at National, State, and local levels.

The role is based at Liverpool Hospital Eastern Campus, which provides a hub for medical education and professional development.

Requirements

Applicants must have appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent, relevant experience, and/or training.

They must outline their understanding of the health and medical research environment in Australia and related legislation, codes, and guidelines relevant to clinical and research ethics.

Applicants must provide examples of their research experience in a health setting or experience in a health services environment with proven experience in research project management.

High-level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as organisational skills to successfully prioritise and manage competing issues and meet deadlines.
