Project Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the financial management of complex capital and development projects across our power portfolio. The successful candidate will have expertise in financial planning, reporting, and forecasting as well as experience working with key stakeholders to drive project success.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact energy infrastructure projects, contribute to strategic planning and performance, and strengthen collaboration between finance and operations. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects that meet our business objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously. They will also be highly analytical, able to interpret financial data, and make informed decisions to drive project outcomes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project financials including budgeting, cost tracking, revenue recognition, and expense allocation.
  • Manage capital and development project forecasts, challenge assumptions, and surface financial risks or opportunities.
  • Prepare and present monthly project financial performance reports, highlighting cost trends, variances, and actionable insights.
  • Build trusted relationships with project managers, senior stakeholders, and finance teams to influence financial decisions.
  • Strengthen financial acumen across project teams through training and guidance on financial processes.
  • Work with Financial Control and other teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and improve data quality and reporting accuracy.
