Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Lead to join our Mental Health Clinical Program team at SA Health, Central Adelaide Local Health Network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership and governance for all clinical work within the Mental Health Clinical Program
  • Contribute to the achievement of key performance indicators and strategic deliverables for the program
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver best practice clinical outcomes
  • Lead and manage professional groups to achieve clinical excellence
Requirements
  • Appropriate specialist qualifications for a consultant registerable as a psychiatrist with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Hold and maintain appropriate registrations with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate others
  • Experience in a senior clinical leadership role, including experience in the planning and provision of health services
