About Our Client

Michael Page is seeking a skilled Functional Analyst to support the implementation of D365 Business Central as part of a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for analysing business requirements and ensuring seamless system alignment.

Job Description
  • Project Coordination: Appropriately communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage time lines and action items.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with the project team and stakeholders, acting as an advocate for the business.
  • Business Requirements Analysis: Analyse and validate business requirements, tailoring the system to meet those objectives.
  • Communication and Logistics: Manage communications, scheduling, and logistics for ERP-specific projects.
  • Project Artefacts: Support project artefacts creation, including RACI matrix and test scripts.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendor support to resolve application issues and system problems.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Design, develop, and produce detailed standard and ad hoc reports.
  • Pre-Project Activities: Participate in pre-project activities and internal initiatives as required.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare design documents and other technical documentation to support the business application.
  • Vendor Management: Communicate with external vendors and conduct joint solution reviews.
  • Technology Recommendations: Recommend and implement effective uses of technology to support business processes.
  • Best Practices and Standards: Develop, document, and maintain best practices, project standards, procedures, application quality objectives, and 'lessons learned,' including metrics for assessment.
  • System Enhancements: Analyze, design, construct, test, and implement system or application enhancements.
  • Technical Leadership: Guide the technical team to deliver a flexible and scalable solution.
  • End-User Training: Ensure instructional materials are accurate, providing subject matter expertise for end-user training.
  • Complex Issue Resolution: Resolve complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions.
  • Business System Readiness: Participate in business system readiness planning (UAT & Go-live phases) and support stakeholders during and post-go-live (hyper-care support).
The Successful Applicant
  • Proven experience as a Functional Analyst, particularly in ERP implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to tailor systems to meet operational needs.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and manage vendor relationships.
  • Experience with D365 Business Central or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive issue resolution.
  • Proficiency in creating project artefacts such as RACI matrices, test scripts, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects effectively.
