Production Team Leader

We are looking for a skilled Production Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring all processes are safe and that we achieve our targets for quality, environment, scheduled production and productivity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all procedures are followed to meet quality and environmental standards.
  • Training production personnel in correct procedures, multi-skilling and job rotation, ensuring records are kept for all training.
  • Supporting the management of the team in areas of performance, development, induction and motivation.
  • Actively participating in and contributing to new product introduction process from a production perspective.
  • Reporting on issues related to area of responsibility, including safety, quality, security, maintenance and production KPI's.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing teams and implementing Lean principles. They will also have a strong understanding of production processes and be able to identify areas for improvement.
