Job Opportunity:

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing repair and preventative maintenance services for various equipment. Your role will be to ensure that all Hach equipment is functioning properly and promote customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize established ISO work instructions to deliver high-quality repair and maintenance services.
  • Collaborate with the Service team and field sales staff to enhance customer relationships.
  • Work independently, motivated by the desire to provide exceptional service.
  • Promote service agreements and upgrade purchases of new equipment to meet customer needs.
  • Submit accurate and timely service reports that impact billing, inventory, instrument history, and failure rates.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Trade certificate or 5+ years' experience in Instrumentation or process control systems is required.
  • A restricted Electrical or Full Electrical License is preferred.
  • Proficiency in PM, diagnostics & repair on other products to fulfill customer requirements within the territory is essential.
  • Experience in a commercial Service role with metrics and monitored KPI performance is advantageous.
  • The ability to reside and work in Australia is mandatory.
