About the Position

We are seeking a qualified trade professional to undertake mechanical servicing, maintenance, installations and upgrades of fixed and mobile plant and equipment.

This role involves fault finding and repairs to mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as attending to equipment failure or breakdowns as they may occur.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant trade certificate in mechanical, fitting and turning, boiler maker or similar, with proven fault-finding capabilities and a proactive approach to work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fault finding and repair of complex mechanical systems;
  • Maintenance and upgrade of plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance;
  • Preparation and submission of maintenance reports as required;
  • Record keeping using industry standard software for compliance purposes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant trade certificate in mechanical, fitting and turning, boiler maker or similar;
  • Proven fault-finding capabilities and a proactive approach to work;
  • Excellent communication and time management skills;
  • Ability to work at heights and within confined spaces.
