**Job Description** About this opportunity**

Circular Plastics Australia is seeking a qualified Maintenance Fitter to join the maintenance team at our state-of-the-art Albury recycling plant. This role is on the night shift, Monday to Friday, 11pm to 7am with opportunities for overtime on weekends too.

This role is crucial in ensuring the optimal operation of our plant machinery through effective maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. As part of a team covering 24-hour operations, you will play a key role in supporting our production processes and contributing to our commitment to safety and quality.

**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain site services.
- Drive continuous improvement of maintenance processes to support operational goals.
- Install, assemble and test new machinery and equipment as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all equipment complies with Australian Safety Standards.

**Your skills and experience**:

- 5-10 years of experience in a similar position.
- Prior experience in latest technology and automation within a manufacturing environment
- General mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance & repairs on manufacturing production lines.
- Proven ability to problem-solve for emergency maintenance and repair

**Qualifications** Your qualifications**
- Relevant trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner or similar.
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent (desirable).
- Forklift license (desirable).
- Work Right Entitlement in Australia
