  • Job Description: We are seeking a skilled chef to join our team in the kitchen of an award-winning resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling a section of the kitchen, assisting the executive chef with all aspects of kitchen operations, and preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of à la carte dishes.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assisting the executive chef with all aspects of kitchen operations
  2. Preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of à la carte dishes
  3. Enforcing service, presentation, and operational standards to ensure consistency and quality at all times
  4. Ordering stock, kitchen supplies, and equipment, and controlling stock levels
  5. Assisting with ongoing staff training and development
  6. Receiving, signing, and accounting for supplies and deliveries
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Trade qualifications and practical experience
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a professional manner
  • Excellent presentation and consistency in both work and personal life
