About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Project Finance to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our origination team, you will be responsible for identifying, arranging, and transacting project finance opportunities in the Australian market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue project finance opportunities in the Australian market
  • Develop and maintain relationships with arranging banks, advisors, private equity developers, and funds
  • Structure and negotiate loan documentation, including term sheets, loan agreements, and intercreditor agreements
  • Collaborate with the deal team to evaluate and execute project finance transactions
  • Help develop, grow, and manage a pipeline and backlog of deals to meet business targets
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably with a financial background
  • Minimum 5 years of transactional experience, with at least 2-3 years in the Australian market
  • Good commercial understanding and awareness of the Australian finance industry in the context of project and structured finance debt
  • Knowledge of the Energy & Infrastructure Sectors, and experience in nascent technologies such as Battery Energy Storage, Datacenters, and Electromobility
  • Previous experience in involvement, negotiation, and execution of project and structured finance transactions as part of a deal team
