Job Role:

Develop your skills in credit analysis, leveraging your expertise to drive business outcomes and strategic growth opportunities.

This role requires a high degree of collaboration, with regular communication with key stakeholders, including clients, colleagues from Credit Sales and Structuring, and Risk Management teams.

As a senior professional, you will be responsible for analyzing credits on both portfolio and single-name basis, building and maintaining financial models for Australian corporates, and identifying potential trading opportunities through high conviction trade ideas.

In addition, you will work closely with the APAC Credit Sales team to develop strong connectivity with local Australian clients and the broader APAC client base, staying up-to-date on market developments and news affecting individual obligors.

You will also be responsible for communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding framework establishment, risk management, and potential loan and investment-grade bond trading activities.

Key Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience analyzing corporate credits
  • Strong fundamental credit analysis skills and commercial acumen
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics or a related field
  • Strong academic record
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive business outcomes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CFA qualification highly regarded
  • Loan or investment-grade bond trading experience
  • Market experience in Leveraged Finance
