At MUFG, we're looking for talented individuals to join our team as Analysts.

This role is all about supporting managers in ensuring our clients are managed consistently with our operations and strategic framework. You'll work on Oceania-wide tasks for our Japanese Corporate Banking Division.

The location of this role is flexible – Sydney or Melbourne is preferred, but Perth will also be considered.

Key responsibilities :

  1. Manage credit & portfolio related requests – periodic review of borrower rating and preparation of credit applications through communication with relationship managers and credit officers in Japan
  2. Manage credit-linked administrative tasks – maintenance of system records, covenant checks, documentation, and various report requests, by smooth communication between relevant parties
  3. Generate historical and forward-looking financial and industry analysis through the credit process
  4. Support the relationship managers for preparation of pitches and proposals

What you'll need :

  • Approx. 2 years' experience working in a financial institution, credit agency, accounting firm, consultancy or equivalent
  • Strong Excel spreadsheet skills, research and analytical skills
  • A good understanding of corporate banking products is advantageous, but not essential
  • You'll have a high level of personal responsibility and self-discipline, together with good communication skills and team spirit
  • Japanese language skills are highly advantageous
