Senior Materials Testing Specialist

As a Laboratory and Systems Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet rigorous performance, quality, and compliance standards. This is a hands-on role that requires a technically minded individual with a passion for materials testing and a deep understanding of steel mechanical properties.
This role involves performing and supervising daily mechanical testing of steel reinforcing products in accordance with national standards. You will also be responsible for interpreting test results, reporting deviations, trends, and out-of-spec outcomes with technical accuracy.
You will calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab testing equipment to ensure ongoing compliance. Additionally, you will provide frontline technical support to operations, particularly where product or process issues are identified.
Other responsibilities include participating in internal audits and external compliance assessments, identifying and escalating non-conformances, driving corrective and preventive actions, and supporting laboratory staff with training, technical guidance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
