We are currently seeking a Civil Design Manager to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to lead a team of engineers and contribute to the delivery of high-quality civil design projects. As a Civil Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects;
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to achieve project objectives;
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes;
  • Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules;
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues;
  • Mentor and develop junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge;
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role;
  • Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, such as a degree or diploma from a recognized institution;
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or eligibility for registration;
  • Detailed knowledge of Austroads design requirements for geometric design of rural and urban roads;
  • Experience with DRAINS, CIRCLY, WaterCad software packages;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
