Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead specializing in Automation within the realms of Digital and Mobility platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Content Management Systems (CMS) such as AEM and Magento, as well as experience with digital packages like Hybris and Demandware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for service and layer-level testing, including web services and micro-services.
  • Lead automation efforts utilizing tools such as Selenium, Perfecto, and Appium.
  • Conduct end-to-end systems integration testing, particularly in the eCommerce and BFSI domains.
  • Ensure thorough understanding and execution of various testing types including DAM, functional, system integration, compatibility, accessibility, localization, and mobility across different operating systems.
  • Oversee the creation of test cases and manage functional, mobile, front-end, and back-end testing, including UI testing.
  • Utilize JIRA for effective test management and tracking.

Methodology and Collaboration:

Possess a solid grasp of diverse delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative approaches. Collaborate closely with the QA Senior Manager to coordinate testing efforts with offshore resources, ensuring adherence to timelines.

Team Engagement:

Participate actively in sprint planning and daily standups, contributing to a cohesive team environment.

Planning and Coordination:

Responsible for test planning, strategy formulation, and estimation in collaboration with the Project Manager. Conduct requirement analysis and facilitate coordination of all testing activities between offshore and onsite teams, including technical reviews.

Quality Assurance:

Maintain the integrity of testing and acceptance activities, ensuring high standards are met.

Communication Skills:

Engage effectively with both business and technical teams, as well as Project Managers. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
