We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator Specialist to join our team at Minuzzo Project Management. As a specialist in contract administration, you will collaborate closely with experienced project managers on large projects and have the autonomy to manage smaller projects end-to-end.

The successful candidate will oversee financial and administrative contractual requirements of our construction projects, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate reports and support project managers with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Administer head contracts, manage claims and variations, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Track and oversee defect liability periods, ensuring timely rectification of subcontractor non-conformances.
  • Assist project managers in scheduling, sequencing, and coordinating project activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within the building & construction industry.
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering or construction preferred.
  • Strong construction background with comprehensive building knowledge.
  • Prior experience in contract administration, finance administration, or project administration roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify financial issues and elevate them as necessary.
  • Able to quickly grasp concepts and apply innovative solutions.
  • Clear and definitive communication – written and verbal accompanied by good presentation ability.
  • Understanding of contracts and legal issues related to contracts.
  • Experience in procurement and letting of trade packages.
  • Current driver's license and current industry white card required.
  • Proficient in using Procore, Breadcrumb1, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Legal entitlement to work in Australia essential.
