Residential Sales Estimation Specialist

As a sales estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and timely sales estimates and tender pricing for investment properties.

The primary responsibility of this position is to work closely with the sales and drafting teams to ensure clients receive competitive quotes that support decision-making and conversions. This involves:

  • Preparing detailed sales estimates and BOQs from concept drawings
  • Liasing with suppliers and internal departments for pricing updates
  • Ensuring all inclusions, exclusions, and client variations are accurately captured
  • Supporting the sales team with tender documentation and pricing breakdowns
  • Maintaining and updating price files and estimator tools
  • Assisting in value engineering to meet investor budgets and ROI targets

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a sales estimator (preferably with an investment builder or volume builder)
  • Solid understanding of residential construction and building codes
  • Proficient with estimating software
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
