Role Description:
OverviewWe are seeking an Allied Health Professional to fill a Lead Practitioner position in the Child and Youth Mental Health Service.
This role involves providing clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team, delivering developmentally appropriate treatment for young people and their families.
The RoleThe successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team to provide high-standard clinical care within a designated program or region.
- They will ensure service delivery is in accordance with evidenced-based practice, person-centred, trauma-informed care, and meets the requirements of relevant professional competencies.
- They will contribute to the ongoing development of the program area through implementation of the model of care and operational service model.
- Provide clinical services through complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies.
- Collaborate with team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new youth mental health services.
- Lead and mentor clinicians within the multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver comprehensive, developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed biopsychosocial mental health assessments and therapies.
- Provide clinical leadership within a designated program area, region, or statewide stream.
The office is based in Devonport, and the Northwest Coast includes diverse communities with access to beaches and recreational activities.
Benefits:The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary range of $123,717 to $138,296 per annum, with 11.5% superannuation on top. Allowances and benefits include professional development allowances and travel/relocation assistance for eligible appointees.
Requirements:- Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program and registration with the relevant National Board.
- Current Working with Children Registration.
