Job Opportunity: Process Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our organization, you will provide engineering support to capital projects, including process design calculations and risk assessment.

  • Prepare process-engineering design and perform reviews of outsourced projects, including sign off of acceptance of process design.
  • Apply industry and company standards for quality and engineering, including ISO 14224.
  • Integrate customer and regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Gather input and feedback from key customers to develop and continuously improve tools and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Environmental and Health and Safety legislative requirements.
  • Experience in a hydrocarbons or gas industry operations environment (Preferred).
  • Well-developed communication and influencing skills and the ability to be an effective member of a multi-disciplinary project team.
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative risk assessment techniques and tools (e.g. Hazop, Bow Ties, LOPA).
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical/Process Engineering or related field, ideally leading to full membership of the Institution of Engineers, Australia (Preferred) or equivalent.
