Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in industrial engineering or a related field and solid experience gained in a related role.

The primary mission of this role is to identify process improvements across our warehouse operations and drive both profit improvements and efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with sites to improve their processes using LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Deliver project improvements by identifying opportunities, re-engineering processes, driving efficiency through process change, and redesigning and implementing operational layout changes.
  • Provide guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct and complete Kaizen activities through training, coaching and data analysis.
  • Develop and maintain Business Process Excellence tools such as 5S & Scheduling tool, performance boards, productivity reports, utilization reports.
  • Guide and drive our operations teams to achieve and maintain target levels on our site accreditation program.
Requirements

Tertiary qualified in industrial engineering or a related field.

Solid experience gained in a related role.

Knowledge and hands-on experience with process improvement tools, Kaizen, Lean, clear communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, strong analytical skills and MS Excel skills.
