This is a critical role at Perigon Group, playing a pivotal part in ensuring all processes for taking on new client matters are adhered to and aligned with the firm's risk management procedures.

Specifically, this involves conducting conflict checks for client approval, matter management, anti-money laundering checks, tracking of client retainers, monitoring information barriers, and liaising with support teams as necessary.

In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date client and matter data in the Firm's Practice Management system, working to ensure an efficient function for the business and supporting overseas offices with the matter setup process.

We are seeking a degree-qualified professional, ideally with experience in the legal sector or other professional services, accounting, finance, compliance, or risk. This role is suited for someone looking to transition into an analytical, operational role, where they can develop new skills and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough conflict checks and obtain client approvals
  • Maintain accurate client and matter data in the Practice Management system
  • Track client retainers and monitor information barriers
  • Liaise with support teams to ensure seamless matter setup
  • Support overseas offices with the matter setup process
