About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Logistics Specialist to play a vital role in enabling sustainable, global supply chains. This pivotal role involves growing our Projects business by strengthening relationships with existing customers and attracting new ones—delivering value through customer-focused solutions and operational excellence.
This role offers frequent domestic travel and the opportunity for international travel, giving you the chance to work on diverse, high-impact projects across regions. If you're passionate about logistics, thrive in dynamic environments, and are driven to deliver results, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Freight Forwarding Expertise - Strong knowledge of international and domestic freight forwarding regulations, global forwarding operations, and market dynamics including competitors, carriers, and services.
- Specialised Industry Experience - Hands-on experience in areas such as heavy haulage, oversized loads, project movements, stevedoring, ocean freight, customs brokerage, and administration.
- Customer Service & Communication - Proven ability to engage with customers, demonstrating a strong service ethic and client-focused approach.
- Organisational & Execution Skills - Methodical and detail-oriented with strong planning, time management, and execution capabilities.
- Analytical & Commercial Acumen - Skilled in problem-solving, risk mitigation, and improving customer experience and business performance, with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Technical Proficiency - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills to support operational and administrative tasks.
