The Data Governance Manager will lead a team dedicated to supporting data users across ClearCompany and driving the development and implementation of data governance policies. This role supports the Chief Data Officer in driving data maturity and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate the organisation's data strategy and governance policies.
- Provide support and training to users on data tools, processes, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.
- Facilitate the Data Front Door process, managing data requests and access.
- Promote data literacy and a data-driven culture within the organisation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and governance challenges.
- Lead initiatives to improve data quality, data security, and data privacy.
- Drive efforts to increase ClearCompany's data maturity and capability.
- Consult across the agency to gather input and feedback on data needs and strategy.
- Monitor and report on the progress of data governance initiatives.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Data Management and Analytics teams to ensure that data products meet both technical and governance standards.
- Coordinate across the agency on the development and implementation of the data strategy, ensuring alignment between technical capabilities and governance policies.
- Provide a service to clients across the agency and develop a work program to deliver on operational and strategic requirements.
