The Role:

A SOC Security Analyst is responsible for detecting and responding to cyber threats. This role requires technical expertise, cyber threat awareness, and analytical skills.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate responses to security incidents.
  • Monitor, investigate, and analyze security alerts from SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and other security tools.
  • Prepare, review, and ensure the quality of security reports, playbooks, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous improvement of SOC tools and processes.
  • Stay up to date with evolving cybersecurity threats and trends.
  • Maintain strong peer and client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Australian Citizenship is required for clearance purposes.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a security analytics role.
  • Demonstrated experience with security tools and technologies such as SOAR, SIEM, and EDR.
