Data Model Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced data model developer to join a large-scale federal government transformation program. The successful candidate will play a key part in the delivery of enterprise data solutions, leading the development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models across both core and access layers of an enterprise data warehouse.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead enterprise data modelling activities, including the design and maintenance of conceptual, logical, and physical models.
  • Establish peer review standards and manage release processes for data models.
  • Drive improvements in modelling practices, documentation, and development workflows.
  • Develop and maintain SQL-based ETL and analytical code across platforms such as MS SQL, Teradata, Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks.
  • Support development of consumption layers for end-user reporting and analytics.
  • Create and manage data dictionaries and ensure alignment with metadata-driven frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience working with business and technical teams, and a strong understanding of data modelling principles and concepts.
