Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Initiatives Manager

The Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Project Officer will lead the implementation of strategic change management initiatives to enhance the level and quality of health services for Aboriginal people across NSW.
Main Responsibilities- Project Development: Participate in specialist teams to develop and implement specific projects and initiatives that improve the provision of health service delivery, ensuring high levels of work performance and completion of projects within agreed timeframes, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
- Health Service Reform: Contribute to the review of health service delivery reform initiatives, working with local health districts and specialty health networks to formulate strategies to achieve improvements in the provision of health services for Aboriginal people.
- Statewide Planning: Assist in the development of statewide plans and strategies for health management across localities, including program promotion, management, reporting, and evaluation.
- Community Development: Facilitate community development activities, including networking with government, non-government, and community agencies statewide.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with local health districts, specialty health networks, and other stakeholders to build capacity to deliver efficient and effective health services.
- Advisory Support: Provide timely, high-level advice and support to senior staff on project development, implementation, management, and reporting to ensure they are fully briefed on project status.
