About the Role:
- You will be responsible for managing and delivering civil engineering design services across various projects and infrastructure types, including traditional transport infrastructure projects and renewable systems technology sector.
- Your tasks will include identifying efficient and cost-effective design and construction solutions through value engineering reviews, recommending and developing design methods, specifications, and performance or functional requirements for tenders and projects.
- In addition, you will oversee tasks on projects where nominated as a project manager, leading effective client engagement, managing budgets and resources, completion of case studies, and collection and sharing of knowledge and technical solutions from bids and projects.
- Your influence will also drive continuous improvement through high performance, innovation, and accountability.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A tertiary degree or diploma in civil engineering is essential.
- Engineers Australia chartered membership and state professional registrations (or equivalent) are desirable prior but should be acquired within 12 to 24 months if successful.
- With a minimum of 5 years' experience in the engineering consulting or construction industry, you will have exposure to multi-discipline engineering design and construction delivery.
- Excellent engineering skills in civil engineering discipline, specifically in relation to civil infrastructure design, road geometric design, rail geometric design, construction staging, and temporary traffic management, are required.
- Proficiency in the use of industry-standard terrain modeling and civil engineering software, such as 12d Model and/or Autodesk Civil 3D, or other accepted compatible technologies, is necessary.
