Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team at Gorilla Jobs. As a key member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional vocational counselling, job placement, and assessment services to our valued clients.

About the Role: As a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work closely with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to achieve successful outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include case management, creating and executing programs to prevent workplace injuries, and supporting individuals with injuries or health conditions to reintegrate into the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide vocational counselling, job placement, and assessment services within the WorkCover, TAC, ComCare, and Life Insurance schemes
  • Collaborate with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to achieve common goals
  • Manage cases, creating and executing programs to prevent workplace injuries and promote workplace safety
  • Support individuals with injuries or health conditions to reintegrate into the workforce
  • Perform assessments, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments, to diagnose, support treatment plans, and identify suitable job opportunities

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in rehabilitation counselling, occupational therapy, psychology, or other relevant allied health disciplines
  • Full AHPRA registration or ESSA
  • Unrestricted Australian working rights
  • Current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
