Senior Software Engineering Manager

This role is for a seasoned software engineer who can lead and mentor teams in building scalable, maintainable, and low-latency web applications. As a senior software engineering manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of complex projects from inception to production.

You will work closely with product managers to ensure that the team understands the problems they're solving. This includes conducting regular feedback sessions on career growth and identifying learning opportunities through project work.

The ideal candidate should have relevant experience leading projects, a strong full-stack background in Java and Angular, and solid knowledge in building scalable, maintainable, and low-latency web applications. Experience refactoring large codebases and sunsetting applications is also a plus.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate should be able to communicate clearly at all organizational levels, demonstrate leadership and mentorship skills, and be accountable for the reliability and uptime of applications.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on leadership and mentoring
  • Strong full-stack background in Java and Angular
  • Solid knowledge in building scalable, maintainable, and low-latency web applications
  • Experience leading projects from inception to production
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all organizational levels
