We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for helping customers resolve complex issues related to MongoDB's scalable systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Solve customer problems using your outstanding problem-solving skills and deep technical experience.">
  • Analyze complex issues holistically, from application tier to storage.">
  • Provide expert-level support for our customers, working alongside our largest customers to resolve their most pressing issues.">
  • Work collaboratively with our product management and development teams to advocate for customer needs.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To succeed in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • 4+ years of proven experience in system engineering, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.">
  • Broad awareness of customer workloads and use cases, including performance, availability, and scalability.">
  • Strong knowledge of Linux performance, memory management, I/O tuning, configuration, security, networking, clusters, and troubleshooting.">
  • Ability to read code and basic coding/scripting ability in one or more languages (Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, Node.js, Go, etc).">
  • Good understanding of Networking concepts and protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, etc.).">
  • Experience supporting complex mission-critical product applications and database systems (RDBMS or non-relational).">
