The Department of Health, Tasmania is currently seeking an experienced and skilled registered nurse to fill the position of Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM). This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role:
  • This is a permanent full-time shift worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight
  • The successful candidate will be required to work in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager and other senior staff to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care

The ANUM is accountable for own practice standards and acts as a role model and mentor for all staff. They will also encourage and support staff to develop their skills and knowledge.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong background in nursing, preferably in a leadership or management role.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
  • Holds or is working towards relevant postgraduate qualifications
