Job Description

Data Validation and Testing

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive test plans and cases to ensure data quality, integrity, and completeness in databases and ETL pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement test plans and cases to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Develop automated data testing frameworks using SQL and Python
  • Perform rigorous validation to detect data integrity issues and schema mismatches
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts to ensure thorough test coverage
  • Test the scalability and performance of data pipelines
  • Document and track data quality issues through resolution using Jira

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in data QA, including SQL and ETL processes
  • Proficiency in automated testing using Python
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze complex data flows and ensure data integrity
  • Effective communication skills for working with technical and non-technical teams
