People & Culture Specialist

SkyCity Adelaide is seeking a skilled People & Culture Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a key member of our People & Culture team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing employee relations, P&C initiatives, and programs that support the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and guide employee relations, P&C initiatives, and programs that support the company's key brand, values, profit, revenue, visitation, and market share objectives.
- Provide informed advice on all people-related queries, including workplace relations legislation, policies, procedures, and performance management.
- Support departmental managers on investigations into employee misconduct matters and provide high-level administrative support within P&C and other related areas.
- Leading-edge ER, IR, and HR knowledge, aligned with current best practice recommendations.
- Excellent ability to develop strong relationships and possess strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with the wider P&C team (Group HR, Recruitment, L&D, and H&S) and establishing a trusted advisor position within agreed departmental portfolios.
- High level of professionalism, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality.
