Job Title:

A Finance Specialist

About the Role:

This is a specialist role that sits at the centre of our operational processes. As an Investment Administrator, you will be responsible for the initial and ongoing administration of client accounts.

Your focus will be on the timely and accurate processing of daily payments, contributions, withdrawals, and asset transfers.

You will also handle client onboarding via applications, ensuring accounts are set up and maintained correctly.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process daily payments and contributions including direct debits, credits, fees, pension payments, super contributions, and BPAY transactions.
  2. Manage in-specie asset transfers (internal and external), liaising with custodians, counterparties, and third parties to ensure smooth completion.
  3. Onboard new client accounts via applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all documentation.
  4. Monitor and resolve items in the ticketing system within agreed service levels.
  5. Collaborate with custodians, counterparties, and internal teams to resolve breaks, payments, and transfer issues.
  6. Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas and participating in testing for new systems and processes.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary degree in business or related field (desirable) or relevant compliance certification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in funds management, platforms, or custody environments.
  • Understanding of custody and superannuation operations.
  • Strong skills in MS Office (especially Excel).
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to resolve complex or ambiguous issues.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and cooperative approach.
